What is Tofu? Tofu is a soft bean curd made from coagulated soybean extract pressed into a cake. It has been used since ancient times and well known for its health benefits. We use an Organic extra firm tofu which absorbs flavor well, and has a great texture for cooking. |
What is seitan and gluten? Seitan and gluten are both high-protein meat substitutes that are very similar. They are both made with mixtures of Vital wheat gluten flour, with different proportions of flour and water to make seitan a more dense and heavy texture, while gluten is a lighter and thinner texture. Like tofu, the flavor depends on what type of sauce you prepare it with. |
